Divided US Society

59 minutes (1 section)
Global

Course Description

US domestic politics have taken much of the world on a wild ride in the past decade as the past two administrations have drastically reshaped a broad range of policies and offered very different visions of the US in the world.

Not only policymakers, but companies and startups around the world have been forced to adjust and craft strategies for US electoral outcomes, which are driven by deeply divided US domestic politics.

This panel sheds light on the divisions and dynamics driving US politics and media that the world will—for better or worse—be forced to adjust to.

This panel from the 2024 G1 Silicon Valley Conference brings together leaders from both the media and academia to discuss how US politics and society became so divided and the role the media plays today.
